On the class blog, write your chosen theme as a title, and then answer one of the questions in complete sentences. You must find at least one reference in your book that connects to the theme and your question and answer it completely in 150 - 300 words. Choose a theme that could potentially turn into an essay.
Read the Nabokov essay I'm giving you over the break. Annotate the essay well. On page 185, Nabokov numbers and makes three claims. In your annotations or in separate notes, write whether or not you agree or disagree with his claims. Find at least one quote in the book to back up your answer (three quotes -- one for each claim.)
